The insulation company came to apply the spray foam insulation on the ceiling of the garage and the ceiling of the 3rd floor. We were concerned about the amount of insulation on the 3rd floor so Tony asked the builder to have them come back out and apply more.
They also sprayed insulation in all of the channels where the plumbing and electrical wires are.
They sprayed insulation in the opening where the cooktop vent will go.

The sheetrock has been delivered!
We met with the builder to discuss placement of the buried propane tank. The tank has to be at least 10 feet from the house and 10 feet from the property line. We have barely enough space for the tank. He proposed that we put it between the middle garage door and the front entrance, buried in an island with brick pavers around it.
We discussed the project schedule. He thinks the drywall will begin tomorrow and should be complete by the end of next week. The tile team is on deck and expect to begin tiling as soon as the sheetrock is done. The cabinets have arrived and will follow the tile installation. The city is requiring us to plant 6 palm trees so we need to get that scheduled.
This is starting to seem real! We might actually have a house one of these days!
Stay tuned!
