Γκαράζ Τείχη (Garage Walls)
Shortly after the pilings and grade beams were in place work began putting the lower level break-away walls in place. These would be made of concrete blocks that are not connected to the piers that support the house. This will ensure that a storm that takes out the walls will not knock down the house. It was fun to watch the walls go up. They made a little progress each day. 2/13/2018 2/15/2018 2/16/2018 2/20/2018 From mid-February until mid-March, we couldn't see much happening. They did manage to move some sand around to make room for the equipment to get onto the site. In mid March, we started to see some activity as they framed the piers that would hold up the first living level. 3/14/2018 The piers were dry and framing removed by the end of March. 3/28/2018 Waterproofing was applied to the concrete blocks on the beach side. 3/29/2018 The framing for the beams that will hold the first living level floor
